It can be difficult to enjoy eating out when you have a special dietary requirement – while Ireland has strict rules about listing allergens on menus so that you can make an informed choice, there is still no guarantee there will be a suitable option on the menu.
Here at Paddy’s Bar & Restaurant we believe everyone deserves a high-quality meal they won’t forget and we want to ensure that everyone who visits here has a fantastic dining experience from start to finish, regardless of their dietary requirements.
With over 100,000 cealics in Ireland and another 450,000 with a gluten intolerance, we believe it’s important to provide a variety of gluten-free options on all our menus. Our team of servers are happy to recommend the best gluten free options to you and our chefs will help to facilitate a positive dining experience by substituting ingredients for gluten free options where available.
In order to support gluten free eating we aim to:
- Ensure that there are gluten free choices on all our menu items – starters, main course, dessert, sides and kids menu options.

- Ensure that all of our sauces are made with gluten free ingredients so that you can interchange them amongst dishes where desired
- Offer gluten free pasta and bread to serve as ingredient substitutes where available
- Ensure that at least two out of the three menu choices on our featured BBQ Menu for groups and events are gluten free, along with all of the accompanying sides and sauces.
